Coming soon to Aviemore, a new and unique escape room experience that is as good as any you might find elsewhere but is designed with a local Highland twist.
When Aviemore Escape Rooms opens there will be two newly designed games to enjoy when you visit Aviemore and the Cairngorms. The third space will be fitted out later and your help will be needed to tell us what type of game you’d like added.
The initial games are being designed by Boundless Workshop who are award winners in escape room design. Boundless are currently designing two games, The Space Race and The Bothy’s Treasure.
Some of us are old enough to remember when on July 20th 1969, the NASA astronaut Neil Armstrong, became the first person to walk on the moon. Many more nations are now investing in space exploration and space tourism is now a thing to do. You can spend more than your life savings on becoming one of the first space tourists, OR you can take your chance and try The Space Race at Aviemore Escape Rooms. You can race head-to-head in our battle style escape game which encourages deceit, trickery and sabotage between teams to see who will emerge victorious. You can compete in two teams or, if you are a single team, you can race against the clock to be the fastest team to complete the challenge.
In the mountains around Aviemore and the Cairngorms there are many bothies that provide shelter and accommodation when you are out hiking and walking. The Mountain Bothy Association (link) work hard to keep a network of bothies available across the Highlands. We’re working on a fun game where you’ll find yourselves at a remote bothy in the middle of the Cairngorm mountains. A previous inhabitant has left a trail of clues to a hidden treasure. You've acquired the notes they left behind, now you just need to unravel the mystery and reap your reward.
